The P-Trap is sometimes screwed with nuts and sometimes it is just twisted and fixed. Either way it is easy to open and take out. First you will need to clear off your sink and place an empty bucket under the sink as when you will take out the pipe, water and gunk will flow out. Now unscrew the pipe and clean it thoroughly, there will be all dirt of food debris, soap gunk, hair and other stuff which you will need to clean and throw. You can also clean the main pipe opening with the hand and extract all the gunk as you can. Make sure to clean the pipe without water and then fix it tightly and securely.

Use Caustic Soda

Caustic soda is known to have anti clog properties. It is made up of hydrogen peroxide. Dilute 3 cups of caustic soda in 3 liters of cold water. Pour it down the drain. Make sure you have worn gloves for safety. Let it sit for half an hour and follow it with a kettle full of boiling hot water. It can break up even the most stubborn debris and even hair.

Try these methods if you get a clog in your kitchen sink and see which works best for you.
